Acreage cleared and mulched flat, ready to be used

Service Areas

Delta County, TX.

Land clearing and forestry mulching across Delta County, TX.

Delta County, TX is inside our regular working radius.

Delta County sits between the forks of the Sulphur River, flat farm ground with heavy bottomland timber along the water.

All fourteen services run here, residential and commercial. Austin Unruh has around seventy thousand hours in this industry and is on the jobs.

The ground here

What a job takes in Delta County, TX depends on where you are in it. Stem size, how thick the stand is, slope and access all change the number, and none of them are visible from a phone call. Larger tracts get walked before anything is quoted.

Ground level or deeper

Our traditional method cuts to ground level and leaves the material on the ground as cover. That handles most jobs — pasture, fence lines, building sites, access.

When a project needs more, sub-soil mulching grinds trees, brush, stumps and root systems directly into the lower soil layers. That is the one to ask about if the ground is going into production or under a building.

Keeping it open

Cleared ground goes back if nobody touches it. Maintenance on a cycle costs a fraction of clearing the same acreage a second time.

Anything cut at ground level will regrow — that is not a knock on the method, it is how the method works. The mulch layer slows it down and the first season or two is quiet, but a tract left entirely alone drifts back toward where it started.

Owners who put a property on a schedule with us spend a fraction of what the first clearing cost, and they never face the full job twice.

What drives the price

Acreage is the first number everyone says and the least useful one alone. Stem size, how thick the stand is, slope, and travel distance all move the figure more than raw acres.

Ten acres of light brush and ten acres of mature hardwood are not the same job. Across Delta County, TX the ground varies enough that quoting sight-unseen is guesswork, which is why larger tracts get walked first.

Ideal jobs run twenty-five thousand and up; the minimum is around five to ten thousand, the point where moving machines to a site makes sense for both sides.

Access and timing

Machines travel on trailers, so access is the first practical question anywhere in Delta County, TX. We need a gate and a path wide enough for the rig and ground firm enough to set it down on. A photo of the entrance when you call usually settles it.

Wet ground stops heavy equipment faster than anything else. After a long rain the schedule moves, and if your job shifts you will hear it from us rather than find out by watching an empty driveway.

Commercial and industrial

Every service runs commercially as well as residentially — right-of-way, lot clearing, pipeline corridors, pad access and ongoing maintenance for operators who need a corridor to stay open.

Ranchers, developers, commercial property owners, oil field operators and large acreage owners are most of who calls us in Delta County, TX.

Call (903) 249-0940

How deep do you mulch?

Our traditional method cuts to ground level. Now we also do sub-soil mulching if your project needs to go deeper, which grinds trees, brush, stumps and root systems directly into the lower soil layers.

Do you haul the material off?

No, and that is deliberate. The material is mulched in place and stays on the ground as cover, so you are not paying for hauling or burning and the ground is not left bare.

Can you work around trees I want to keep?

Yes. Mark or flag them before we start and they stay. A mulching head works right up around a trunk without touching it, which is most of the reason owners pick it over a dozer.

What size jobs do you take?

Ideal jobs run twenty-five thousand and up, with a minimum around five to ten thousand. Below that the cost of moving equipment to the site stops making sense for either of us.

How long have you been doing this?

Austin started the business with his wife in 2012 on a single ASV RC100. It has grown to multiple machines, more than fifteen hundred completed jobs and around seventy thousand hours in the industry.

Do you do commercial work?

Every service we offer runs commercially as well as residentially — right-of-way, lot clearing, pipeline corridors and industrial sites included.
